Growing healthy churches in relationship for God’s mission

The Regional Team are based in Cardiff at the South Wales Baptist College. The team aim to serve the churches in their mission and support the ministers and leadership teams across the region.

Nick Bradshaw

Association Team Leader

Nick has worked for the Association since 2003. He helps churches and a ministers find each other (settlement). He liaises with the other Associations, BUW and Senior Management at Baptists Together.

siân ashiru

Association Administrator

Sian joined the Association team in March 2017. She provides administrative support and is the main liaison person between the Churches and the Association Team.

Revd Carl Gidney

Part-time Regional Minister

Carl joined the Association team in 2016. He leads in Mission Consultancy. Meeting with churches, he helps to encourage vision and gives practical advice to churches who want to develop mission activity.

Revd Tim Daniel

Part-time Regional Minister

Tim joined the Association team in 2016. He leads in Grants and church closures. Meeting with churches, he helps to see where financial support is needed and guides churches through the grant application process.

Revd Susan Stevenson

Full-time Regional Minister

Susan joined the Association team in 2016. She leads in pastoral care and connecting churches together. Meeting with Ministers, Susan identifies Pastoral and Ministerial needs as well as oversees Ministerial Recognition and Newly Accredited MInisters.

Association Treasurer

Tony is the Association’s current Treasurer, now in his second term he is responsible for the finances and carrying out the financial decisions for the Association.

Miss Patricia Wiltshire

Moderator and Safeguarding Lead

Tricia is currently the Moderator for the Association and Chair for the Board of Trustees. She is also the Safeguarding lead and trains churches in Safeguarding.
