We ask that adults contribute £5 each towards the costs of the day. Under 18s are free.
Please bring a packed lunch, or money to purchase food from nearby shops in Pontyclun.
Drinks will be available throughout the day.
How to get there
Bethel Baptist Church, Heol Miskin, Pontyclun CF72 9AJ
There is limited parking available at the church – contributors and Blue Badge holders only, please.
Please park at
Y Pant School, Cowbridge Road, Talbot Green, Pontyclun, CF72 8YQ,
which is only a 10 minute walk from the church. Alternatively, Bethel’s minibus will be on hand to drive people from Y Pant to the church.
A walk from Pontyclun railway station to the church will take around 6 minutes, and buses to Pontyclun also run regularly.

Children and youth provision will start at 11.40 am -12.40 pm, and again at 1.40 pm – 3.45 pm
There will then be an optional tea (please indicate on booking form) for those wishing to stay for an evening celebration with Yinka Oyekan

The coffee lounge and prayer room will be available throughout the day for your use.

BMS Café – Speak with mission workers, hear news from overseas, connect with the wider world through BMS – tea, coffee and cake available.
Prayer Space – guided prayer, facilitated by Heather Weddell
Craft – card making and craft for adults, facilitated by association churches
Church constitution and charity registration seminar – how to get started!. Led by Tim Daniel
Singing workshop – join a scratch choir and make a joyful noise to the Lord. Led by Liz Squires
DPS seminar – This seminar/workshop is for those with a safeguarding responsibility in their church – Designated Person for Safeguarding and Safeguarding Trustee. We will look at some issues DPSs may encounter and share experiences in this two-hour session. The SWBA safeguarding trainers will lead the workshop.
Children Youth and Families workers - How to reach children in a shifting culture, led by Emma Mohr and Steve Lock

Please return safeguarding forms before the day, so that the leaders can best prepare to welcome your children.
Gemma Buckle and the team from Richmond Road, Baptist Church, Cwmbran will be looking forward to welcoming your children for a varied programme of fun activities.
Laura Watkins, children and youth pastor from Coedpenmaen Community Church and Chris Bullock, youth pastor from Bethel Baptist Church, Pontyclun, will lead the youth work. The café will be available for young people to meet with the leaders, and decide whether they wish to stay and chat together, or join in some of the seminars and workshops.
There is a small creche area for parents and babies next to the café.
